Mac Vs PC in the Graphic Design Industry. https://youtu.be/0wMZGcWAMxc
Mac vs. PC is one of the oldest arguments in the Graphic Design world despite the fact that Apple Mac computers and Windows PC’s offer mostly the same capabilities for a Graphic Designer. Read more on my blog:

As several people here have pointed out a Mac is now a PC. Much of this comes down to how you intend to use it and what you value. I have both and have used both for many years. Many people in the design industry still insist on having the polarizing Mac vs PC Argument over and over again. If you are a regular end users, that is one thing, but as a designer this argument makes no sense.

Mac vs PC Comes Down to Users
Users have their own criteria for evaluating why a tool fits their needs. As an industry we have designers who use Mac’s, PC’s or both (like me) to accomplish their task and produce the results their clients and employers need. The advantages come down to the skills, needs and desires of the individual designers and what makes them work most comfortably. Using one vs the other doesn’t make you a better designer or a real designer.
A lot of this comes from our elders. Back during Mac’s revival period they had made some strides that made them a better overall fit for everyone in the creative services industry. Everyone from musicians to video editors to designers wanted to work on Mac computers. this was over 20 years ago. But many of the Art Directors and Designers from that era are the decision makers of this era and are Apple Loyalist, which is fine. But what this means is that they have set a tone of culture in the design industry that says “The Elite of This Business use Apple Products”. It’d be like being told you’re not a real mechanic if you don’t use Craftsman tools. It’s frankly just silly. Use what works, and if you if brand recognition gives you and edge and you can afford it, than why not. It’s not worth debating for another 2 or 3 decades…
