Possibly in response to Yahoo’s rumored video sharing service, YouTube changed some of how it offers ads to advertisers and promotes them across the site. Right now it only affects the top 5% of YouTube creators, but if it ends up making them a lot more money, then maybe it’ll trickle down to the rest of us.
