Why Photoshop Is Not a Logo Design Program https://youtu.be/jC2rPYR7ANY Logo Designers should not be using Photoshop to Design Logos. Logos need to be designed using a Vector based program like Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw because otherwise they are not scalable and usually have other issues such as color and formatting when it comes to print.
The result is often clients not having the proper logo files without ever knowing any better. It’s up to a designer to know the appropriate tools and format to produce logos in for a client’s needs. Most designers who overly rely on Photoshop will find or make excuses to use it as their go to program for a logo design rather than learn a new application, but professional logos have a process behind them and Photoshop is not part of it.
